NATURAL MATE SET - Balibetov traditional Calabash Gourd set is handmade in Argentina from a complete natural fruit. The set includes A calabash Mate Gourd, a stainless steel Bombilla straw and a cleaning brush. The carved design ring rim details make each piece a work of art. 

ABOUT A CALABASH GOURD - The Calabash (pumpkin) Gourd is a completely natural fruit, the brown color comes as a result of the roasting of the fruit. Each Gourd has a unique shape varying a bit one from the other. Made from the fruit of 'Legenaria', it's the traditional and original way in which mate is enjoyed.

SIZE - Mate gourd capacity is 7 oz I 200 ml approximately, no two are the same. Some are bigger, some are smaller. Nature does not repeat - it creates. Bombilla straw is 5.5 inch I 14 cm long.

CURING PROCESS IS REQUIRED - The Gourd arrives with the interior of the dry fruit peeling requesting each customer to cure the fruit before any use to seal the pores, to avoid bitterness and cracks. The packaging includes an Instruction manual with clear steps on how to cure, prepare and maintain this authentic set!
